Adventures in 88 Keys supports and recognizes the pursuit of excellence in the study and appreciation of music. Motivated students regularly participate in the international assessment of the Royal Conservatory of Music. Practical and theory assessments are done three times a year: in the spring, summer, and winter. Being a founding teacher of the Royal Conservatory Music Development Program, a certified teacher ( Elementary, Intermediate, Advanced Levels) of the Royal Conservatory of Music, and the center representative of San Diego-Carlsbad assessment center (371), Ms. Asuncion prepares her students rigorously for their yearly assessments. Her students have been regularly featured in the Celebration of Excellence Recitals in Southern CA, a yearly event which recognizes the achievements of top examinees (those who obtain 90% and higher, 2% of all examinees).
